Bill Maggio
Executive Chairman
Bill is the Executive Chairman of Egret Healthcare Ventures and a healthcare, medical diagnostics, business development executive leader from Western New York.Â
He is currently also the managing partner of private equity firm Lorraine Capital and the former CEO of the Jacobs Institute, where he currently serves as an advisor to the executive management team.
Bill is a senior advisor with Circuit Clinical, chairman of the newly formed 43North Foundation board and is the executive chairman at Deal Partners, a company that received an investment from Lorraine.Â
Early in his career he worked for Boehringer Mannheim and Roche, and he was instrumental in the expansion of Immco Diagnostics, Inc. and its acquisition by Trinity Biotech PLC (NASDAQ: TRIB).Â
Bill is very active in the Buffalo community as chair, director, and advisor on a number of local, national, and international boards including 43 North, the University at Buffalo Foundation Board of Directors, Kaleida Health Board of Directors (Vice Chair), Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, (Trustee), the West Side Rowing Club (Past Chair), and the Burchfield Penny Art Center. He is a graduate of Canisius College.
