Brian Bocketti

Brian serves as Corporate Counsel for Egret and its affiliate entities. He is a partner and member of the leadership team of Lippes Mathias, a Buffalo-based law firm. 

He has more than twenty years of experience in deal-making and transactional matters. That includes hundreds of closed transactions including acquisitions, finance, venture capital and private equity transactions.

In his work, Brian has helped to cultivate numerous start-up and venture companies and has served as a mentor to principals in practical aspects of these matters including setting strategy and capitalization concerns.

As acquisition counsel, he represents private equity firms, independent sponsors and public and privately held companies in acquisitions throughout the region. 

He serves as primary outside counsel to public and privately-held companies on matters spanning from corporate and capital organization to strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures to family and corporate succession.

Brian is a University at Buffalo School of Law graduate and received his bachelor’s degree from Siena College.
